Both dead silent with the bean Animal being set and forget and the herbie needs some adjusting once in a while. I've seen both and they are silent. My durso is not. Herbie needs 2 holes bean animal needs 3

![]() herbie is my preferred method super easy to plumb , dead silent , I also have starfish in my overflow so its nice and easy to keep the water level high when I turn my pumps off to feed .
