Default 2 bulb fixture

Would a 2 bulb 48" t5ho fixture be enough lighting for lps and softies/zoas/Palys on a 16" deep tank? The tank is 48x12x16. This is more of a cheapo setup and he doesn't want to spend a ton of money on the lighting. Though ati bulbs will be used. What you guys think?

Anyone? I've never had anything less than 4 bulbs or 3w leds so I have no clue.

I would think yes, but you could ask Myka. She recommended a 2 bulb fixture for my 24 x 12 x 16 LPS tank.

I would say yes as well based on experience... I used 2 ATI bulbs in a 24" Coralife fixture on a 24x12x16 tank, kept softies and LPS. Not ideal for SPS but I'm sure you know that

I even have a cheapo 2 or 4 bulb T5HO fixture for $40.
