Reef Club vs Reef Society

I will be attending MACNA next week in Dallas, and was wondering what is the difference between a Reef Club, ie. Vancouver Reef Club and a Reef Society ?

I will compile the information that I recieve from the discussion and seminars for dissemination to others.

Good question. Does anyone have any ideas?
BTW, it's good to know that there's someone representing us Canadians down there in Dallas. Whatever happens, I'm sure Zulu would bring back half a dozen new members. :D
