![]() I'm planning to get an elegance coral but I've heard that they have a very high chance of dying to elegance coral disease. How long you guys kept yours alive for and is the disease still happening?

I think there is a higher chance of them dying within a few months of them being harvested from the wild, but once they have been established for a while they are fine. |

![]() to my understanding the disease isnt found in the wild only in captivity.
ECS(elegnace coral syndrome) is highly contagious so when a elegant shares the same system as an infected species it to has a very high chance to surcome to ECS and more than likely will ECS can kill as fast as a few days or up to a year later. it can infect all species of Catalaphyllia there is no known cure to my knowlege? cheers denny |
