![]() bought this poor little sun coral . im thinking it was starved at the LFS and they still wanted $60 for it =\. anyways if i can get this jem back to health any tips and tricks would be appreciated !

![]() I had a bit of a hard time getting mine to open up at first to feed them. Typically they liked to open up when I was already in bed sleeping, lol. Someone told me to try adding a few drops of coral amino 15 min or so before I wanted feed. Worked like a charm. I've been using Brightwell Aquatics Coral Amino and they extend out every time. Then I just squirt some mysis to each head and they gobble it up.

![]() I think they don't care about light. Totally non-photosynthetic. I've got mine under a bit of an overhang but in a very well lit tank (LED's). Every one I've seen in it's natural habitat has been in low light area's though.
But I've found with mine it's no where near as sensitive to light as my blastomussa's. It also seems to like a bit of flow but not blasted by a power head. |

![]() I just put it in a bowl and squirt mysis water. Waited 15 mins and the ones that were kinda moving I used tweezers and put mysis in the mouth . There eating ... Super slow though . Every ten mins i give them another . Main thing they are eating
