This is an LPS often called Galaxy coral which is Galaxea spp.
|

That is likely a good guess for the species of the one you posted, although a much more detailed photo with the polyps withdrawn would be needed for a species ID. Hairy Mushrooms can look very similar, but your pic does appear to be Galaxea spp.

I was leaning more towards the hairy shroom. Does it have a hard bottom that the tenticals retract into or does it just kinda shrivel up a bit at night.

Its a green rhodactis mushroom, if its completely soft with no skeleton.
