![]() So I've got a question!
If you guys aren't sure I can always put the dang thing in the basement. I got a new tank. 60gallon starfire cube with a 30 gallon sump and it's stand. So aprox 900lbs when I fill the dang thing. I want to put it in my living room on a corner outside wall upstairs. do you think it would hold okay or should I put it in my barely used basement lol. I'm upgrading from a 29 biocube so it's a bit of a jump. I know a lot of you have tanks much bigger than mine in condos and the like so it shouldn't be an issue but it's easier to ask. ~Aysha

![]() No worries there go for it. Way to small to even worry about. (disclaimer I'm not responsible for any damage caused)

![]() photos tonight! I saw it and caved it was just the upgrade I was looking for. If I'm using an existing tank to stock it how long should I let it cycle for?
this thing is almost 6 feet tall with the stand! it's enormous! I love cube tanks personally and I got a screaming deal on it.

![]() As long as you use new sand and don't disturb the sandbed in the old tank, move the rocks quickly. You shouldn't have much of a cycle at all.

![]() brand new sand absolutly mines getting kinda ugly! I'm tempted to use sugar sand because I like the looks of it and it's way cheaper (if you know where to get it) but I heard it's a PITA...as far as corals go. go figure my tank is finally mature and nice and I NEED TO MAKE IT BIGGER! still never stop learning. I'm also thinking of changing the halides that came with it over to LED's .
