Default looking for used 14K phoenix bulbs
looking for used 14K 250W Phoenix bulbs.


Just got a new 2x250 + T5 light fixture and wondering if my HQI ballasts will drive these bulbs correctly and also to see if i like the color.

also would be interested to try 250W 20K Odyssea bulbs

IMO, after about 8 months, phoenix look nothing like they did new so you wont get an accurate portrayal of colour...

Do they really loose that much so it is noticeable with the naked eye?

Yup they do. I use those bulbs all the time and find by the 9-10 month mark, adding a new one will make the tank look very blue compared to a daylight color that it has turned too.
