New lights, what is safe for SPS
Hey guys,
Question for those of you who has an experience in changing the light source for SPS corals. What do you think is the safe start would be? I am switching from 6xTek T5 to a 2xDE250W HQI + 4x39W t5 actinics on a 36" long tank 65 gal. How many hours per day should I start from and what is the safe schedule to bring SPS to a full 8-9 hour MH DE lighting period? Thank you.
