![]() every single day when i wake up my glass is covered in little critters. i've identified hydroid jellyfish and copepods but there's other little bugs as well.
my water is littered with these things and they're floating all over my tank anyway to lower the population of these things, i want my water and glass to look clear and not like its constantly snowing |

![]() try running a 100 micron or smaller filter sock and mechanically remove them.
Make sure you take it out and replace it with a new one every 2-3 days or atleast throughly wash it at that interval to prevent nitrate spike. |

![]() Huh? $20? They are way less than that and you can wash them out repeatedly before they wear out.

![]() Filter socks should be about $10 each, and are fully reusable by washing in the washing machine without soaps. Probably your best bet for getting the jellies.
However, these bugs you're seeing sound like pods. There are many different kinds. |

![]() You can bleach filter socks too. You just have to dry thoroughly before use so the chlorine will off-gas.
