Default Clownfish Laying Eggs?

Hey today i noticed my larger clown of my pair that I have had for about 6 months was gone? then i watched for a while and it is swimming back and fourth from under my anemone which is about a dinner plate in size now. Today was the first day I have ever seen it doing that, only think i can think is that it has laid eggs under my anemone? The anemone is half on my rocks and half on my sand bed, so thats the only conclusion I can draw.

Thanks for the input.
Tony
