Saltwater Mix

Hey guys,

I'm running low on my usual brand of salt and I don't think ill have time to get to the store in time for my usual water change. I have an old bucket full of salt from my first aquarium? Will changing the salt cause stress on my coral?Or can I safely use that salt till I go out and get my usual brand?

You shouldn't have any problems, just check your water parameters and you should be just fine.

What brand are you using now, and what is the old stuff?

If they are close enough in mixture, there shouldn't be any issues.
