the chemicals in the abs glue leech into the water i was told the pipe its self is safe to use

there are different quality ABS, generaly ABS is not pressure rated and doesn't look as nice
 there are a lot of old threads on the board that go right into the differances, but basicly no differance as most of the fish accesories you buy as made of ABS Steve
