Problem with mp40's

so i picked up a mp 40w a week ago or so had one already blown away by performance hooked this up and set as a slave pump worked ok but when ever i would turn flow to 100% this pump would cut out this pump would also stall frequently it was properly aligned as it was dead silent came home last night and light was flashing red and white thats not a code no matter what button i hit would not change opened up to find all the contacts corroded driver was mounted on the wall outside my tank so i would not get it wet customer service is closed on weekends i can see my corals suffering already anemones walking all over now what do i do ????
