![]() I've got a Euro reef CS-180 and need to replace the sponge on it, anyone got a spare one lying around, I know Euro reef sells them but they charge something like 50 for shipping.

![]() Try using one of those foam pre filters you can get for most pond pumps. Enlarge the hole a bit and voila, new sponge.

![]() If you mod it, be sure to do it right. Mine has the gate valve mod and the enkamat mod, and now I can't run both pumps or it overflows immediately. Just be sure to not glue any plumbing in place until you're sure it's working as desired.

![]() I wouldn't even glue anything together especially if your skimmer is in-sump. The socket fitting on most PVC is enough to hold the parts together indefinitely without applying any solvent. Also makes the skimmer easier to sell to those who feel modded skimmers are worth less than the original.

![]() I would send them an email,they will work on shipping usps instead of fedex.I needed a 25 cent nylon washer for my 135 rs sedra pump.When i added the part to the cart, shipping came out to 47 american !! I first sent a fairly nasty email,they worked with me,and i recieved 4 washers,at no cost,and shipped for free,to my door.
