![]() Hello,
Just set up 1 90 Gallon. I used water from the tap and used prime on it. Then I added my live rocks. Now I am being told that ro water is the best. So I went and bought some. I am using R/O water to top off the tank with evaporation. Is this okay? or should the full tank have been filled with R/O water. Thanks. |

![]() Ideally, yes...but you'll be fine. Using RO water from now on is a good idea.

![]() I personally have never had an issue with tap water in any of my tanks (I always let my water sit for 12-24 hours before adding it though) R/O water is a good way to go though! Just make sure the place you're getting it from is taking care of the machines and such!

![]() Look up your local water company's water analysis online. They should make this information readily available to the public
