Default My little piece of the Ocean - 33g mixed reef

Well, my little reef is a year old now. It's not as nice or exciting as many of the other reefs on here though!

Fish:

Breeding Pair of Cardinals
Baby True Perc (looking for a mate for him)
Hector's Goby

Inverts:

Peppermint Shrimp
Stomatella snails breeding their little brains out
Astraea, Black Cerith, Nassarius

Corals:

Duncan
Monti cap (violet with blue polyps)
Monti encrusting/plating (orange and green)
Red Open Brain
Galaxea
Torch
Bubble
Fox
Candy Cane
Pagoda (bleached, but color is starting to come back)
Green Star Polyps
Xenia (about to be banned from the tank for spreading)
Common Green Polyps

Brain and Goby:

Pagoda w/ Duncan below:

Monti's:

Bubbly:

Galaxea:

And some fun NIGHT shots:

Thanks everyone! I'm going to do a complete renovation in there soon here. Hopefully it'll look better. My Giesemann T5s really yellow out when they get older too. ;(

That bright white rock is in there getting the Xenia to transfer onto it. Xenia is being banned.

Very nice. The lighting is a "Glo" unit?

Yep, Hagen Glo T5 strip. This one here:

http://www.hagen.com/hagen/uk/aquati...htProg2_EN.cfm

I have Giesemann bulbs in the Glo strip though. One Pure Actinic, and one Midday. My only complaint is that it is a single sucky reflector, and there is not enough room to fit the Sunlight Supply Tek reflectors onto the bulbs (I tried).

The tank is actually whiter/bluer than the photo shows. Turns out I didn't have any carbon running for the last 2 months. Ooops. I should take a new pic now that I have carbon running again. Show the difference. HAHA!

Ooops, it's a Hector's Goby that I have, not a Randall's Goby!!! Errg...I always call him a Randall.

On a side note...my aquascaping sucks. I just have my rocks placed to make as many places for corals as possible. I ripped all my rocks out (they're "cooking" in a bin for a couple months), so hopefully I can figure out a better layout wen I put them back in.
