![]() i'm getting some rock thats been out of a tank for a few months, and would like to add it eventually to my tank.
should i set up a rubbermaid container with heater/pump and cycle it there with a piece of live rock from my tank? what's your thoughts??

![]() If its old LR thats been dried out,then it would be a good idea to cycle it in a different tank.There still may be some dried out dead stuff inside that you can't see.
