Default ?getting xenias off live rock?

can anyone tell me how to get em off live rock without killing them? i imagine the stocks being very firmly attached and ripping them but i hope there's another way. i know they come off glass easily with a razor blade but rock's a whole new ballgame.

advice?

razor blade..if you do not want xenia to regrow where you cut it off the rock, just blast it with some boiling water or kalk paste.

yup, i just use a rubber band to re-attach them to more rocks...xenia's pretty forgiving stuff. and don't forget to wash your hands well after handling things in your tank

If you're really worried, just use your thumb nail to carefully scrape it off the rock at the base.

or a piece of credit card like material.... significant others like this use of a credit card on corals over the other type of usage... at least mine does

propain torch works good as if there is any flesh left on the rock alive it will grow back.

If you are trying to get it off the rock because you don't want it anymore try trading the rock away for a similar sized rock or sell it I imagine someone take it
