![]() I plan on running to Ice cap 660 6' actinics with 3 MH 400 watt to light my tank. I have read that fish like the lights to dim rather than turn right off. Will I need to dim my actinics for the night effect?

![]() Hello,
I use the Solar L-1000 and I will recommend a dimmer for just about anyone who has cash to spare. The unit allows wheather pattern simulation and moonlight effect. An YES, it does come up gradually and go away gradually. Heck, it even give cloudy days when you can see the light dim for a few seconds and come back up. Just like a cloud moving overhead. Titus |
