Anyone getting a real bad smell when taking out one Algone media bag after a week and a half use? I just replaced one and it smells real bad. Freaked me out when I grabbed it as the top of the bag had a jelly like stuff all over it. Smells like rotten eggs.

Yup, I just pulled mine and found the same thing. And it isn't even dead!!

yeah the media can get a little stinky
