![]() Hello, I hope someone can provide me some guidance. I'm just starting my new 150g saltwater project. I have ordered a Glass Holes overflow that has two 2" drains. I am seriously considering purchasing a Trigger Systems sump from ReefSupplies.
The drain section of the sump has two permanent pipes attached to the sump to connect the drain pipes. This is great. However I am certain that they aren't 2" and therefore I would need to use reducers. I'm OK with doing that, however I'm wondering what the impact would be to the drainage system. Would it increase noise? Is this a bad idea? Or am I overthinking this? I'd appreciate hearing your responses. Thanks! |

![]() Should not pose a significant noise problem at all.
