Cool looking feather duster on snail (?)

Well I have this (I am guessing) feather duster growing on a snails shell and it looks pretty cool! Can anyone confirm what it actually is?

Dude looks like you have a little convict spray painting stuff.. I see them around Edmonton all the time tagging walls and buildings.. I didn't think they could spread to the marine environment, must be some radical forward movement in global domination!

Just looks like a normal little duster to me raied. I used to have tons in my sand aand rock. If you can grab the snail see if theres a tube, or barnacle. Looks like a duster to me IME the smaller ones usually have a firmer almost calcium like tube
