Brighter bulb is blue lagoon.

Powered one of a pair on for testing, way too bright for supplementary to MH lighting. (Was looking to actinic range though I'd give these a try, back to pure actinic I go...)

$40 for the pair.

Saw this new bulb and was wondering how it compared to the giesemann actinic+ bulb.

Any differences? Is it more blue? Brighter? Thanks

the other bulb is a failing Pure actinic bulb. I actually took it for recycling at rona right after this pic. I didn't realize the bulb was going cause it's the rear one and I never got a direct look at it.
So the actinic+ is a little lighter and brighter than the Pure actinic.

I lit up my tank with this ONE bulb and it put out a nice even daylight look to the tank so don't get it if you're looking for actinic supplement.
