![]() I am getting a custom tank built. 24"x24"x10"... its gonna be mostly a top down tank dominated by Acans, zoas/palys, and a little bit of sps. I have been a metal halide guy for my past 8 years of reef keeping, and im feeling like with this tank its time for an LED. (we have a 6 gallon tank with a par 38 over it as well). Now im curious, what LED is going to give me the best bang for my buck over a shallow tank like this? Should i put a couple PAR38s over it? or maybe a Kessil 350? Or an Orphek PR72? Or something like a SOL? I would appreciate any input you guys have cause aside from a little par38, i am an LED noobie! thanks in advance

![]() LEDs are so intense that I don't know how well acans & zoas will do with only 10" height & maybe only a few inches of water to diffuse the LED light being emitted. You would have to dim down the LEDs really low I would imagine.
