Default purple firefish and dottyback compatability?

Just wondering if anybody have them in the same tank and if the dottyback will harrass the firefish with the similar body shapes and colors?

Its not a matter of body shapes and colors. The firefish are way too doctile to be housed with Dottybacks unless you have alot of hiding places or a spacious tank.

Let's stop the misinformation. It is exactly body shape and coloration that causes Dottyback aggression.

Yes it is a metter of color and body shape but that is way too minimal. A firefish will just be bullied by a dottyback i have seen it myself in a 180 not a good idea.

Is it because the firefish resembles the dottyback's shape/color or does the dottyback bully every other fish equally if at all?

Maybe dottybacks are just plain evil.

Dottybacks are an aggressive species. This is why they would chase firefish into hiding.

I've seen some nice looking dottybacks lately at on lfs. Knowing that they are aggressive, what other fish can be housed with them in a 36"x18"x 24"h tank?
