![]() My brother is thinking about upgrading his skimmer. He has a Oceanic 58 gallon tank with about 60 pounds of Liver rock, Right now he has a CPR back pack.
What would you go for, the new double Back pack skimmer or a remora pro? There both around the same cost. Im looking for anyone with experience with either of these skimmers.

![]() I have a Remora Pro with Pre-skimmer box to hide the pump. While the skimmer box can some times be a PITA, I love this skimmer is rocks. I still empty the cup every day to every other day..
Check out some pics. Looks like its time I cleaned the collection cup again ![]()

![]() If his tank is not drilled (which is my guess) then a EuroReef will do him no good. Hense why I have an HOB, tank is not drilled.
And if I had a drilled tank I would go with a Beckett style Skimmer
