Usually if the male is pregnant, he becomes reclusive somewhat and doesn't participate in the mating ritual.
You should have noticed the female getting fat and then becoming skinny right when the male pouch gets large.
It is more likely, if the female didn't get fat, that they are doing their courting ritual and the male inflates the pouch with water to show her he is ready and willing. This should trigger a reaction in the female if she is acceptable to this, and will start to produce the eggs which would be transferred when ready.

Looks like he is really pregnant , his pouch is getting big and big , he is mostly spending his time alone, here his recent video update .
