![]() Hey guys,
Just noticed today that my christmas wrasse has some scales that appear to be white. This look almost raised, any ideas? He is eating really well and still going after every snail in the tank! [IMG] ![]() Also My blue tang has a brown patch on her underside, just kinda showed up last week, again does seem to be effecting her at all, still eating fine. [IMG] ![]() Excuse the white specks (they are sand in the water column) it is just a cell phone photo! Thanks |

![]() Do you have an agressive fish in there that is chasing them, it kind of looks like the tail fins are being nipped at as well.

![]() Yeah my yellow tang is a jerk to the blue tang, but they are getting better now. I think she is on the mend. The Christmas wrasse is friends with everyone though.

![]() It looks like a nip mark that's starting to heal on the tang and it looks like a scrape mark (scraped himself on the rocks maybe?) on the wrasse.

![]() Yeah I think I'm gonna go with scraping against the rock, he likes to go into caves allot, so I'm guessing that's what caused it!

![]() scrape or nip. I have a regal that has that all the time (scrapes) and my melanurus wrasse (v. similar to the christmas wrasse) does that to himself all the time wedging his fat arse into spaces where he doesn't fit
