Hi there i'm new to salt water, but have been doing fresh for long while so i thought i would progress to the next step. this system was set up in april of this year (2013). so has not hit the one year mark yet.

Equipment;
50lbs live rock
marineland 100 skimmer
koralia evolution 750 power head
maxijet 400 return pump
proflex 10 gal sump (recently converted to a fuge)
aqualife t5 dual lamp fixture. one actinic, other 10k white
also running carbon passively, and dual filter socks
marineland heater

Livestock;
2 halloween hermit crabs
1 emerald crab
1 skunk (cleaner) shrimp
1 turban snail
1 turbo snail
3 brown blotch snails
1 fighting conch
1 coral beauty
1 blue/green chromis (had three)
1 orange clown
1 black clown

Corals;
1 torch coral
1 green star polyp
1 pumping xenia

here is a video i took last month. sorry about the condition of the sand was trying to get control of my diatom out break at the time. which has now cleaned up nicely since adding the fighting conch a few weeks ago. (they are like lil cows grazing all the time.)
