![]() Has anyone battled with this at all?
My female Darwin Occ. now has her second cyst. The first one cleared up in around four weeks. It has been at least four weeks since she had it. Now, as of yesterday, she has a new cyst on a different place on her body. The tank has been through a lot in the last week. It has been treated with Chemiclean twice, and I'm on the fifth day of seriously reduced lighting. Will stress trigger the appearance of the cysts? All of her food is soaked in Garlic Guard. She has her torch coral, and her little orange occ. mate. She's the "Queen Bee" of the tank. Additionally, I understand that this condition is not curable. Should I isolate the clowns in their own tank? How high are the chances of the other fish becoming infected? I picked up an RSM 130 that is presently empty, and my NC12 is empty at present as well. I would rather keep them where they are, however. Curiously, this didn't show up during her five weeks in QT, and it showed up before my Fox Face and Scooter Dragonet were added to the system (they both had abbreviated QTs). I haven't seen it on any of the other fish, so I can only assume her exposure happened previous to my acquisition of her and she's typically tough enough to fight it off. |
