Canadian Man is on a distinguished road
Default Becareful of the FANS!

Well I thought I would do my system a good thing  and add a fan on my basement sump to speed evaporation therefore making my top off dose more kalk to my system.

So I took a standard self standing fan that one would use in the bedroom and rested it on the ledge of the sump

Fast foreward 2 days and my critters arent looking so good.I was preping to do a waterchange today and looked at my temp. 72
I should mention that I have 2 x 250w EboJag heaters on the system(90gmain and 75g basement sump)and they couldnt keep up.

I added another 200w heater and temp is now back at a comfortable steady 80 deg.

Just a thought to those that are adding fans to beat the heat.Check your temp, It may fall too low. ;)

STUPID.STUPID.STUPID!
