wall coverings for fish rooms

I'm tearing down my current fish room so I can finish it. As it is now it's just bare drywall and concrete. Since I don't want to run the tank without a sump for too long I don't really have the time or patience to fully mud and tap the room to perfection and then apply some kind of paint. What I'd like to do is apply a quick tape job and then cover the drywall with something fit for the task. A thick vinyl wallpaper perhaps or some kind of plastic wall board/paneling. It will have to go on both the walls and the ceiling and needs to completely moisture resistant. Finally it can't take longer than a day to put up and finish.

Any ideas on something for the job, ideally something readily available that I can grab tomorrow.

Many restaurants use a vinyl wall covering behind their sinks that is water resistant. I've seen it in white, but believe it can be painted, not sure though. Its textured and gives a decent finish, behind a tank would be perfect. I'm trying to find out a specific name for it and if I get it soon, will let you know if someone else doesn't chime in first....

Yeah but how do I attach that to the wall and ceiling and make it look half decent? I think it would need to be a tongue and grove type of panel but I haven't seen those around in plastic locally.

I know the product you are looking for, but can't can't seem to find the brand here. I can get it to you tomorrow. It is a great product & we use it in commercial kitchens & washrooms.

You could also look for Trusscore PCV liner that is used in car wash bays.

FRP panels is what I was thinking about. The cost isn't actually that bad. Home depot sometimes have it it stock. Barker board could be used as well. Used for tub surrounds & showers. Neither will fit in a car. That being the case go and check the paint stores. Not the home improvement stores. They may have something that will cover like paint and be water proof. You could also use a truck bed liner product. But that would probably be more than FRP panels. Hope all of this helps.
