just got back from vacation here... and the reef was amazing and no boat or hike required as the reef starts at the shore line. Some people referred to this place as the retirement home, mainly an older crowd 40s - 70s with few younger people roaming around. an hour to veradero and havana.
if your looking to party or good food, might wanna look else where but for a relaxing vacation with very good snorkelling... this will be the place for you. no pics sorry as my underwater camera fried 3 pictures in after taking pics of a couple of cuttlefish... I blame the cuttles.
