Default Anyone retro into LED?

Anyone know of anyone doing safe and functioning conversions from florescent fixtures into LED?

Depending on the LEDs you use it's fairly easy... If you are using crees then you would need a heatsink as they heat up abit, you can also order cheaper 1w led from china and use buck pucks to power them, not dimmable but decent.

Are you planning on supplementing the flourecents or completely ripping them out and retrofitting with led?

I got it on my bio-cube, 28 cree leds all together. love it, same deal if you are ever out by jl, just stop by and check it out.

Are you thinking DIY retro-fitting or retro-fitting an existing fixture?

I did the latter, while Bblinks did the former. He did a great job on the DIY!
