Has anyone tried the new Xanium bulb?

I am wondering if anyone has tried the new Xanium 175W MH bulb. I am concerned that it is a piece of crap. Mine is less than two months old, and appears to be losing brightness at an alarming rate. The purty intense colors of mu corals is also disappearing. Also does anyone know what the thread on Reef Central is called?? :(
