Default freshwater snail shells for salt

Is this ok to do. I boiled them first.

yes i have done this, however i think fw shell are softer... they get picked apart pretty quick.

Try dollarama craft section.... Huge bag of salt water ones....wash it of course.

or any other craft store, the one i went to had all kinds of different sizes and shapes, had to look through a few to find the right size for my biggest hermit.
