Default Feeding of Pytoplankton

Will too much phytoplankton degrade water quality ? I feed every 2 days once (about 10 drops for a 175 g) but the aquarium glass is covered with a thin layer of greens and I have to clean the glass often.

If you're talking about DT's, probably not.

EDIT: OOpps. just noticed that you said 10 drops. Must be talking about Biolife or Tahatian Blend. Yes, my glass gets green too from that. If it doesn't all get eaten, it will degrade your water quality slightly.

I feed the frozen stuff maybe once a week and DTs maybe once or twice a week.
