Default What will the 'Nucks do TONIGHT??

Isn't there a hockey game tonight? Thought I heard something about it being for 1st place in the division, or something like that??

Hmm... will your 'boys' rise to the occasion? OR will they come out flat again??

Oh man...the pressure! This game will be for 1st in the western conference AND the northwest division.

Honestly, if the Canucks play tonight the way they've been playing the past few games they don't stand a chance against Colorado. The players have admitted this too. Canucks are definitely not on a hot streak!

Oh well, even if the Canucks lose it's still early in the year. They face Colorado another 5 times before the end of the season.

yup, right now the canucks have two left feet and no energy at all. I think the coach must have changed their gatorade or something

Alex Auld might be starting in goal as well. Both Hedburg and Cloutier are supposedly out with injuries.

They keep insisting that Hedberg will be ready to go. Not that I have much more confidence in him over Auld.

Before the season started everyone was buzzing about who would be the better goalie this year, Cloutier or Hedberg. So far it's very clear that Clouts is #1!!!

Let's face it, Vancouver's the worst place to be a goalie. I dont think we've ever liked any of our goalies after Kirk Mclean; and he wasn't exactly awesome either. We've thrown out a lot of decent goalies in the past decade or so: Sean Burke, Felix Potvin, Artus Irbe etc.

Clouts is cool just becuz I like fiesty goailes

Yeah that was a great game! The thing about playing Colorado though, is that a point IS NOT a point since they are division rivals. Both teams went in tied for 1st in the NW, and left still tied so basically neither team got anywhere!

The Canucks played way better...damn u Aebischer

I feel we won that game.

Not only did we outshoot and outskate colorado, we also managed to snag a tie from a game with onesided ref'ing.

The disallowed goal was crap, one of the camera angles clearly show it was a colorado player who took out his goalie...

There were several no calls against colorado - how many times do we have to watch bertuzzi play with an opposing player HANGING off his jersey? And there were several instances of naslund being tripped in the attacking zone, etc. Yet no call.

But when any of our players came close to a colorado star (and lets face it, thats nearly everyone on that team, they are STACKED), you heard the whistle go off.

Total crap. Turned an exciting game into a frustrating game to watch
