Default Spent bulbs Where to recycle them in Calgary.

I have been trying to find a place that recycles spent fluorescent and Metal Halide bulbs in Calgary. I don't what to just throw them in the land fill because of the mercury in them. I found Rona only takes energy savers. Does anyone know where to take them?

The recycling depot in Cochrane is where we recycle ours. Rhonda does a run with all my bulbs about every 2 months. You can bring them in to RC.

Ikea has a recycle center for light bulbs, (tubes included) and batteries.
It's located between the returns area and the tills.

Please dont ever ever ever do that, the "powder" on the inside of a T5 bulb is highly toxic and can make you very sick, if you break one you should use a dust mask to clean up the glass and try and get ventilation into the area asap.

Sure they make a loud poping sound and look cool when they break but they are not very safe at all.
