Default Selling of frags?

Q: What is the current policy on frag sales on Canreef?

A: We've returned to our roots somewhat with regards to selling frags on the board. To encourage the propagation of captive raised corals, we've revised our policy on frags so that individuals are no longer limited to amounts or frequencies of sales. If your tank grows too fast and you need to frag, feel free to post them here for our members.

Q: Are there any limitations to this revision?

A: Yes, limitations would exclude commercial entities that are not sponsors (online/store front vendors) or individuals who are clearly in the frag business for profit, indicated by heavy volumes, rotating and new species in stock, etc. This limitation will be reviewed on specific cases and dealt with as they arise. This limitation is in effect to protect our advertisers, without which this board would not exist.

We hope this meets most members needs.

Thumbs up

That's sweet music to my ears, I recently had a post pulled from here for frags i had to take from my display due to a majano outbreak. I am looking forward to being able to empty my tank and start over.

Thanks to all involved in implementing this change. Thanks Mod's!!

Default

Aquaculture is a far superior alternative to wild capture so this is a step in the right direction. Good call canreef mods, glad to see a little change in the policy.

But now we can't have those long heart felt PM discussions Brad .
