I guess it all depends on if you are looking to buy local or on line. Online I have found that Aqua Cave in the U.S. has the best price including shipping. I need 16 - 48" bulbs and it was $80 to ship.

That is true about almost any where you get good quality bulb's bought local or online. Some online stores will give a discount depending on the number of bulbs you require. I have called a few directly and got some decent pricing but still have not ordered any yet. NEED TO REALLY SOON THOUGH
