Xtreme 150 BMK protein skimmer.

The ORIGINAL Xtreme protein skimmer! Comes with an Atman 2500 pump.

An integrated removable bubble plate to help reduce turbulence within the protein skimmer.

Fully disassemble, due to the removable base plate.

Perfectly balanced body and neck.

Adjustable air intake for fine air flow adjustment.

Gate valve pipe output allows you to adjust the skimmer and have precision control of the water level.

Custom needle wheel meshwheel hybrid impeller. Up to 650lph/23scfh of air pull using custom impeller. Air number will vary depending on aquarium set up.

These are real numbers not hyped numbers. Draws less than 27 watts of electricity per pump.Quick release neck on the collection cup - requires 1/2 inch of clearance to remove the cup.

So why XTREME 150BMK and not the other similar style skimmer (Brand "B")?

Brand "B" has a large step in the neck where the collection cup sits inside of the neck transition. SWC has a smooth transition all the way up. The step will hinder bubble rising and hurt skimmer performance.

Brand "B" has as little restrictive air silencer. SWC has a large non restrictive and adjustable air silencer. Having an adjustable air silencer will enable the user to fine tune the skimmer.

Brand "B" has a loose fitting wedge pipe outlet. SWC has a precision adjustable gate wedge pipe outlet. Having a precision gate wedge pipe allows the user to have finer water level control and the settings will stay where they were set.

Brand "B" has a small inefficient bubble plate that causes turbulence. SWC Has a larger CNC machined bubble plate that has counter sunk holes for smoother bubble rise. Having a larger bubble plate that is matched to the body will allow for less turbulence having greater skimmer performance. Having counter sunk bubble plate holes also allows for the smoother transition of bubbles and greater skimmer performance.

Brand "B" uses a mesh wheel that has be proven to break down in a short period of time. SWC uses a hybrid mesh needle wheel that will last a long period of time.
