Colored Beaches
So here is a little more about sand, sandy beaches actually.
Something a bit more interesting then how deep your sand bed should be, or how big the grains are. Here are some colored sandy beaches from around the world. Kaihalulu, or Red Sand Beach  Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur, California.  Hyams Beach in New South Wales, Australia  Papakolea Beach in Hawaii's Ka'u district  Punalu'u Beach in Hawaii's Big Island

Great photos, I have always been a fan of black sand for the color contrast. That green sand is crazy though, would love to have a sand bed made out of it!
