![]() I just split the above tonight after a procastinating period of time. I was told to cut straight down, not on an angle. I did that and made 3 frags out of the mother. I put all frags separately on a piece of LR held by not too tight elastic band and put everybody back in my display tank (don't have any other tank, unfortunately...). They all look pretty sad and I was wondering how long it takes for them to heal (hopefully they'll survive...). Please advise. Thanks much!

![]() They will heal in time. Pretty hardy coral they are. Nothing ever looks pretty after they've been fraged, but they will survive.

![]() They should be fine. It is a good idea to run carbon if they are going into your display as they do goo a bit when they have been cut.

![]() Good to now as I will be fragging my sinularia coral tonight for the first time... should it be cut at angle as we'll?
