Default Supplements?

Do any of you use supplements in addition to water changes?

Things like iodine, strontium, magnesium or whatever? Besides things like DT's and other coral "food".

I've been going along my merry way for the past year without any vitamin or supplement additions. Maybe just small water changes every month or so. My tank's doing good but not as good as I'd like. Little things bug me like a big lack of daytime polyp extension, and somewhat inconsistent growth rates.

Just trying to cover all bases. Thanks

I just started using the obvious, kalk. Never had an easy way to dose it before. Made a big difference in the stability of my PH. Acros and other SPS are now doing much better. I use to never be able to keep Bird's Nest and thought it was nitrate or lighting but it was neither of those. It was low PH all that time that was killing it.

Calcium via CA reactor, once in a while magnesium, and once in a longer while iodine. I figure I need to supplement since I'm kind of water change challenged or is it lazy.
