Default Mixing Mg

When mixing the bulk mag...the site instructions say:

5 cups of MgChloride and 3 cups of MgSulphate in 1gal of water.

Since you already have pre mixed the MgCl2 and MgS...should I be adding 8 cups of MgMix to 1gal of water?

Cameron,

Good question, we recommend simply adding 6 cups of the mixed mag to your gallon of water and just dose enough to keep your levels adequate. The amount of Mag mixed into the container is not as important as the Alk and Calcium as there is no need to balance the mag ionically with another additive.

Hope that makes sense!
