Aqualogic chiller with Nemex 4 controller error

I used the chiller and controller last year with no problems. I turned off the pump and controller over the winter. When I started the pump it started fine. However when I tried to program the controller (Nemex 4 TR115SN) it simply gives an E2 error msg. Apparently what I set didn't make it into the memory.

Is there something I can do to correct this or are these controllers simply short lived? It is kept dry indoors at all times.

Hopefully someone will have an answer/suggsetion to fix this.
