Congratulations Winnipeg, Hockey Returns
Just wanted to pass that along to all the Jet fans in Manitoba and wherever else your cheering from. While not a Jets fan, this is fantastic news that Canada is regaining one of its teams.
Their first year is going to be brutal for travelling, but on the plus side you do get to see some big stars a few more times than the rest of the western fans will. And with quite a bit of cap space they have the option of picking up a good player or two thru free agency. Good luck JETS fans. personally I think that the Jets is the only name.

Yes good news!
Although I'm not positive, I believe the name Jets belongs to the Coyotes. I don't think the city owns the rights to the name. One difficult task ahead of the the new team will be trying to convince players to come and to stay in Winnipeg. Edmonton has troubles enough, and I think Winnipeg is even colder, is it not?

I am glad to see a team back in "the peg". They have always had great fan support there, stupid economic's caused the move when our dollar was so low a number of years ago. Not sure I understand the leagues decision of the first years alignment, but that is supposed to change in year 2.
