Default LF top brace for 48" long x 18" wide x 12" at corners bowfront

Hey everybody,

So I'm working today in edmonton when I see this bowfront aquarium on the curb of a house I pass. I go back after work, and it's still there (no garbageman is gonna pick that puppy up) so I ask the guy who lives there, and he lets me take it.

"It leaks", he says as I leave.

Of course it leaks. It leaks pretty much everywhere. No big deal. I can see that whoever siliconed the thing previously used some crazy crap, and did not know how to silicone. The problem is that some half-wit cut off the front part of the heavy pvc brace.

Anyone know where I can find one of these braces, or of any other sweet way to make a brace? (I was thinking of trying to glue the tops with cross braces made of acrylic, or going to grab some more glass. What the hell are these things even made of? I assume acrylic)

little help?
